Queens Park Rangers forward Eduardo Vargas has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
The 25-year-old suffered ligament damage during QPR's 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Vargas scored his side's opening goal at The Hawthorns as they eased their relegation worries in the Premier League.
"Scans have since revealed Vargas sustained a grade two medial collateral ligament injury, which is likely to keep him sidelined for between 10-12 weeks," read a statement on the club's official website.
The R's continue their fight for survival on Tuesday night when they make the trip to fellow strugglers Aston Villa.
