Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton has confessed that it is has not all been plain sailing since he joined the club in August.
The midfielder, who signed on at Loftus Road on a free transfer from Newcastle United, was part of the Rangers side that slumped to a 6-0 defeat against Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
However, the 29-year-old has tipped the club to "bounce back" from the weekend's loss as they go about their aim of securing Premier League survival.
"[Being at QPR] has had its ups and downs," Barton told Sky Sports News. "But it's a process and I came in as part of that process as we're looking to build and stabilise a Premier League club.
"There's going to be good days and some days like Sunday.
"We'll bounce back though and we're really looking forward to the Blackburn game in a couple of weeks."
Barton has scored one goal since he joined Neil Warnock's side.
