Queens Park Rangers assistant manager Kevin Bond has declared that he is "delighted" with his side's victory against Nottingham Forest.
The Hoops defeated Forest 5-2 at Loftus Road on Saturday lunchtime to edge closer to a Championship playoff spot.
"We're delighted to have got the win that we needed," Bond is quoted as saying by GetWestLondon. "Hopefully it'll go a long way to securing a playoff spot and what we're looking to do is go into them with a bit of momentum, so to score that many goals was very pleasing.
"We're not there yet though, you can't take anything for granted in football. We need to secure a playoff spot, that's the most important thing.
"You need everybody fit and fresh but you need to go in there confident so it means that you can't take liberties with the games that you play and the teams that you pick, so it's a difficult one. The manager will need to balance all that out."
QPR return to action next Saturday when they face league leaders Leicester City.
