Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has conceded that the Premier League is the most physical country he has played in.
The Brazilian international has previously played back in his homeland, as well as in Serie A with Inter Milan.
However, using Saturday's 0-0 draw against Norwich City as an example, the 33-year-old has insisted that English football is not as technical as in other countries.
"Football here is more physical. In Italy and Brazil, the game is more technical. But against Norwich on Saturday, I told the big number nine (Grant Holt) 'stop pushing me at a corner. He said it's not me, it's your teammate'," Cesar told the Daily Mail.
Cesar has made 18 appearances in all competitions for the R's this season.
