Brian Murphy has said that Queens Park Rangers made a "step-up in class" during their pre-season game against Besiktas.
A second-half goal from Andy Johnson helped the Hoops to their first win of the summer in Austria yesterday.
The goalkeeper told the club's website: "I thought we played quite well last night. It was a definite step-up in class, both in terms of our own performance, as well as the calibre of the opposition.
"I thought we were organised, well-drilled and deserved winners on the night. I was quite quiet throughout the 90 minutes which tells you how well the boys in front of me played.
"It's been a good week, a step up from Devon, and all the lads seem to be enjoying themselves. It was nice to get 90 minutes under my belt last night. It will give me that little bit of confidence to push on for the rest of pre-season."
QPR face Udinese in Vienna tomorrow.
