Queens Park Rangers have come to an agreement with Sao Paulo over striker Henrique, subject to a work permit.
The Brazil Under-20s international has been linked with a switch to Loftus Road and has revealed his 'excitement' in working under manager Mark Hughes.
"I know other clubs are interested in me but when I spoke to Mark Hughes and QPR they made me feel very excited about their plans," Sky Sports News quote Henrique as saying. "I want to go to a club with ambition and playing in London would be a fantastic opportunity.
"The manager is known everywhere, he played for great clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona and as a striker I can learn so much from him. I've always wanted to play in Europe and for me England has the most exciting league in the world."
The Premier League side could face a problem with obtaining a work permit for the youngster as the frontman has not played enough senior games for Sao Paulo.
