Chris Ramsey unhappy with "appalling" concentration levels of QPR players

Chris Ramsey admits that Queens Park Rangers only have themselves to blame following another late setback, this time in their meeting with Chelsea at Loftus Road.

Chris Ramsey has admitted that Queens Park Rangers' failure to hold on for a draw against Chelsea has left him feeling "very disappointed".

The R's would have moved to within a point of safety had they seen out the closing stages against their West London rivals, although Cesc Fabregas found the net to dent the home side's survival hopes.

QPR currently boast the worst defensive record in the division, and having also conceded late on in their last outing at Aston Villa, Ramsey was left unhappy with his group of players.

"I am very, very disappointed to lose," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "Detail kills you and when you have top players like they do, you get done. One shot or two shots and the top players score.

"We have let two or three goals in from the same position the last few weeks and players haven't been able to concentrate enough. We are still in with a fight, everyone is disappointed and I just feel sorry for the crowd.

"We have ourselves to blame because of our concentration. Our concentration has been appalling. We have let late goals in in most games. The players don't need lifting, they will lift themselves."

QPR return to action in a fortnight when they take on West Ham United.
