Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he would have been happy to take the game to "extra time and penalties" in their 1-0 win against Derby County in the Championship playoff final.
The beleaguered R's were under the cosh for most of the game and found themselves down to 10 men on the hour, but went on to win the game in normal time thanks to Bobby Zamora's goal in the 90th minute.
The 67-year-old told reporters after the game: [It was] an amazing finish to a game.
"Down to 10 men and then Derby start to create chances. I thought the centre backs headed some great balls out of the box.
"I'll be truthful, we were looking for extra time and penalties and then Bobby does that. What a finish."
The result means that QPR are back in the Premier League at the first time of asking.
