Glenn Hoddle will join Harry Redknapp's backroom staff at Queens Park Rangers, reports suggest.
The former England and Chelsea boss has been in talks with QPR since last month and a deal is now close to being finalised, according to the Sunday People.
Hoddle has not managed since he left Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2006, but is said to be ready for a return to the Premier League, even if it is as an assistant manager.
He endured a tough time at Molineux, failing to take the Black Country club in the right direction and resigning as a result.
His role raises questions about Redknapp's long-term future, with the Loftus Road hierarchy reportedly seeing Hoddle as a successor to Redknapp should he retire or fail to keep the Loftus Road club in the Premier League.
