Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips has undergone an operation in order to recover from an ankle injury.
The 31-year-old hasn't played for the Hoops since March 9, and was left out of the squad altogether during Monday's 3-2 defeat at Fulham.
Wright-Phillips posted a picture to social networking site Twitter on Thursday, showing a heavily bandaged right foot.
The picture was accompanied by a message which read: "Had my ankle surgery - all went well. Thanx 4 your kind wishes truly appreciate it all."
It remains unclear how long Wright-Phillips will be out of action for.
