QPR boss Mark Hughes admits that he is excited by his side's relegation battle.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has admitted that he is excited by his side's battle for survival.

The R's, who host Tottenham Hotspur at Loftus Road on Saturday, are currently two points above the drop zone with four games to play.

Despite a tense end to the season, Hughes believes that his side can take confidence from their home form to book their place in the top flight next season.

"Our home form has been excellent and we have to replicate that," he said.

"I think if we match the levels we have hit at home then with the ability that we have and the support of the crowd we can give anyone a game.

"We are looking forward to it and I think it is important at this stage of the season not to have apprehension or fear ahead and you go into the game with confidence and that is certainly how we feel."

Rangers were defeated 3-1 by Spurs in the reverse fixture at White Hart Lane in October.
