Rangers boss Ally McCoist believes that his side deserved their 4-2 win against Celtic at Ibrox.
The Gers were 2-1 down at half-time after keeper Allan McGregor allowed Badr El Kaddouri's shot to slip through his legs, but second-half goals from Nikica Jelavic, Kyle Lafferty and Steven Naismith earned them the win.
"I thought the second half, I thought Rangers were terrific, I really did," McCoist told Sky Sports News.
"They came out of the traps, they did effectively exactly what we asked them to do second half and we had numerous chances and I felt ran out deserved winners."
The manager was also keen to place no blame on Allan McGregor after his goalkeeping error.
"I couldn't believe it but we did mention at half-time that if anybody deserved a break, it was Allan McGregor," McCoist added.
"You know because you only have to look at last season how vital he was in our championship winning team, saving penalties here and making numerous, numerous saves."
The win keeps Rangers top of the SPL table and opens up a four-point gap between them and their Glaswegian rivals.
