Former Manchester United striker Manucho has signed a one-year deal with Rayo Vallecano.
The 31-year-old had been available on a free transfer after leaving Real Valladolid at the end of the 2013-14 season.
A number of clubs had been linked with a move, but a statement on Rayo's official website has confirmed that the Angolan international has penned a deal with the capital outfit.
The signing of the powerful forward could open the door for Jonathan Larrivey to leave, with a number of top-flight clubs interested in his signature.
Manucho scored 14 times in 57 appearances for Valladolid.
