A goal from substitute Nacho has given Real Madrid a 1-0 half-time lead over Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League clash this evening.
Neither side were able to create any clear-cut chances for much of the first half, as Cristiano Ronaldo fired wide with an early speculative effort, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic blazed an effort over the bar at the other end of the pitch.
The visitors twice came close to taking the lead, as Blaise Matuidi met a low Serge Aurier cross to test Madrid keeper Keylor Navas, before Ibrahimovic curled an effort wide from inside the box.
The hosts took the lead on 35 minutes through Nacho, as the substitute left-back pounced on a loose ball following a blocked Toni Kroos effort.
PSG dominated the remainder of the first half, as Adrien Rabiot struck the post from distance, before an inviting Maxwell cross went just beyond Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani for a tap-in.
The visitors came close to an equaliser on the stroke of half time as Angel di Maria found Cavani from a counter-attack, but the Uruguayan was denied by Navas from close range.
