Gareth Bale believes that Real Madrid have the credentials to win the Champions League this season.
Los Blancos travel to Germany for the first leg of their last-16 clash with Schalke 04 on Wednesday evening on the back of a 26-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
"We know the Champions League is a big competition with all the best teams in it, so we know it is going to be difficult," he told Fifa's official website.
"I think we are ready, we believe we can win every game so we'll go over there and hopefully come back with the win."
Bale joined Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for a world-record fee.
