Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has been caught on tunnel footage allegedly telling Ferland Mendy not to pass the ball to Vinicius Junior during Tuesday's clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Los Blancos entered the interval of the Champions League clash 1-0 behind before ultimately fighting back to claim a 2-2 draw at Borussia-Park.
In footage released by Telefoot, Benzema was overheard telling Mendy at half time: "Brother don't play to him. On my mother's life. He is playing against us."
Vinicius was not directly referenced by the Frenchman, but Spanish publication Marca have reported that the Brazilian youngster was the player being spoken about during the exchange.
Marcus Thuram sent Gladbach two goals ahead in the 58th minute of the contest before goals from Benzema and Casemiro in the final minutes saw Zinedine Zidane's side claim a point.
Vinicius was replaced by fit-again Eden Hazard in the 70th minute, with the 20-year-old, who has scored three times in seven appearances this season, finding it difficult to make his mark.
Madrid are back in La Liga action at home to Huesca on Saturday afternoon.
