Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez believes that his team deserved to beat Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday.
Los Blancos dominated proceedings in the first period and registered six attempts on target, but they could not find a way past Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
James, however, is confident that his team have what it takes to progress from the second leg at the Bernabeu next Wednesday.
"I think we should have won. In the first half we created a lot of chances, around five or six, but we've now got another game against them," he told ESPN. "It's going to be played with great intensity but we are going to win at our home ground and in front of our fans.
"We are confident and everyone is pulling together. About six weeks ago we had some very important lows but now we are united and are going to fight. Atletico Madrid are an aggressive team and that's what they'll do, but we are at home."
James has recently returned to action following a broken foot.
