Real Madrid defender Nacho has revealed that a hip problem saw him substituted in the early stages of Saturday's La Liga clash with Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.
Nacho started the match at right-back, but was withdrawn midway through the first half of action.
The Spaniard looked distraught on the bench as he hid his face behind a towel, which led to suggestions that the versatile defender had picked up a potentially long-term problem.
The 28-year-old, however, has played down the seriousness of the issue.
"I hurt my hip a bit and I'm in some discomfort. However, I have tests tomorrow and we hope it's nothing serious," Nacho told Movistar+.
Nacho has made 36 appearances for Madrid in all competitions during the 2017-18 campaign.
