The agent of Gareth Bale has hit back at comments made by Roy Keane in the aftermath of Real Madrid's defeat by Juventus on Tuesday night.
Former Manchester United midfielder Keane claimed that the reigning European champions had to play as though they had 10 men due to Bale's underwhelming performance in the 2-1 reverse.
However, the Welshman's representative, Jonathan Barnett, has brushed aside the ITV pundit's remarks, claiming that they are "irrelevant".
"Why should we take any notice of irrelevant comments from people who don't know what they are talking about and people who failed in management?" he is quoted as saying by BT Sport.
"Gareth only listens to relevant comments. He is at the biggest club in the world. He is one of the best players in the world. He is fine."
Keane is currently working as assistant manager to Martin O'Neill in the Republic of Ireland set-up.
