Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Paco Buyo believes that Jose Mourinho does not have a problem with Iker Casillas.
The Spain captain was dropped for Madrid's 3-2 defeat to Malaga last week, which led to speculation that the Portuguese coach has a problem with Casillas.
However, Buyo thinks that is not the case and says that the switch was purely down to tactical reasoning.
"I refuse to think that Mourinho has anything personal against Casillas," the former stopper told Marca.
"If we look at performance, the majority of players are not up to the level the supporters and shareholders would wish. Something is going wrong.
"It would be unfair to point the finger at Iker for the Malaga substitution. I am not going to name names, but there are many who are not up to the mark."
Los Blancos are third in La Liga and trail leaders Barcelona by 16 points.
