Real Madrid injury, suspension news vs. Athletic Bilbao: Will Aurelien Tchouameni be available?

:Headline: Real Madrid injury, suspension news vs. Athletic Bilbao: Will Aurelien Tchouameni be available?:
Sports Mole looks at Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao.
Sports Mole

Real Madrid will be aiming to make it four La Liga wins in a row when they head to Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos are now second in the La Liga table, just one point behind division leaders Barcelona with a game in hand, with Carlo Ancelotti's side back in charge of the title race in Spain's top flight.

Real Madrid have won 10, drawn three and lost one of their 14 league fixtures this term, finding the back of the net on 30 occasions and conceding just 11.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Athletic, who are currently sixth in Spain's top flight, boasting 23 points from 14 matches.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 4 (vs. Athletic Bilbao)

Real Madrid have recently been without the services of Tchouameni due to the ankle injury that he suffered during the Champions League contest with AC Milan on November 5, but the midfielder has a strong chance of making his return here.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid will be without the services of Carvajal for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign due to the severe knee injury that the right-back suffered in the clash with Villarreal on October 5.

David Alaba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: January 9 (vs. Mallorca)

Alaba suffered an ACL injury last December, which has required two operations to fix; the defender has made progress in his recovery, though, and he is expected to be back on the field at the start of 2025.

Vinicius Junior

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Vinicius was absent against Liverpool in the Champions League and Getafe in La Liga due to a muscular problem; the Brazilian remains unavailable for selection for this match, but he could be back before the winter break in Spain.

Eder Militao

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid will be without the services of Militao for the remainder of the campaign, as the Brazilian centre-back damaged his ACL during the clash with Osasuna before the international break.

Eduardo Camavinga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Rayo Vallecano)

Camavinga is still in the treatment room due to a hamstring problem, but the France international is in line to return before the winter break in Spain, most likely against Rayo Vallecano on December 14.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for the La Liga clash.
