Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
Kovacic left Inter to make the switch to the Bernabeu in August 2015, since which 103 appearances have been made in all competitions.
However, half of the Croatian's outings have come from the substitutes' bench, and according to Corriere dello Sport, Inter may attempt to secure a reunion with the 23-year-old.
Before moving to Spain, Kovacic had impressed as a youngster in Serie A, with five goals being scored in 80 appearances during his time in Italy's top flight.
The player still has over three years remaining on his existing contract at Real.
