Columbus Crew have won for the first time in four MLS matches by beating the New York Red Bulls in Ohio.
Federico Higuain scored both goals as New York's four-game unbeaten streak was brought to an abrupt end.
The Argentinean forward, who is the brother of Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain, broke the deadlock from the penalty spot just after the hour mark following Luis Robles's foul on Chad Marshall.
Higuain doubled his tally 14 minutes from time with a long-range effort that flashed into the top left corner of the net.
