Rochdale scored two stoppage-time goals as they came back to draw 2-2 with Chesterfield tonight.
The home side were dominant throughout and took the lead after Gary Roberts scored just before the half-hour mark.
Marc Richards doubled the advantage on 68 minutes when he fired the ball home following a goalmouth scramble.
However, Rochdale were handed a lifeline in stoppage time when Richards was sent off for handling inside the area.
Ian Henderson converted the penalty before Peter Vincenti headed home a corner moments later to complete an unlikely comeback.
The draw means the home side miss out on a return to the automatic promotion places, but move up a place to third, while Rochdale stay second in League Two.
