Roma manager Rudi Garcia has praised Seydou Doumbia and Victor Ibarbo for their performances during the club's 2-0 victory over Genoa this afternoon.
The two forwards arrived in Rome in the January transfer window and initially struggled to settle, but they both impressed as the Giallorossi recorded only their second home win since the turn of the year.
"It was a clean game, with a great team spirit. It was important, because we knew that Genoa defend very well across the board," Garcia told Sky Sport Italia.
"Doumbia? When we are in the attacking phases of the field, he is an important player for us and the penalty area is his garden.
"He arrived here with a physical problem and unfit. He and Ibarbo have worked a lot in recent months and today we have seen the results."
Roma return to league action next Saturday with a trip to AC Milan.
