Russia coach Fabio Capello has admitted that a late lapse in concentration cost his side a memorable victory over Brazil last night.
Viktor Fayzulin had given Russia the lead at Stamford Bridge, but a 90th-minute equaliser from Fred ensured that the friendly international ended in a 1-1 draw.
Capello believes that the game provided him with an important chance to blood younger players and test them ahead of vital World Cup qualifiers.
He told Goal.com: "The players lost their concentration, lost their position, and against Brazil you cannot lose your concentration.
"The friendly game for me is very important because I want to find different solutions. Roman Pavlyuchenko is a good player but I chose to select other players today.
"I think it will be hard to beat Brazil in Brazil, they have a good team."
Capello is still unbeaten after seven matches as Russia head coach.
