Inter Milan have moved to the top of the Serie A table with an emphatic 7-0 win at struggling Sassuolo.
Rodrigo Palacio converted Yuto Nagatomo's cross on seven minutes to put Inter ahead, before their lead was doubled midway through the first half as Saphir Taider slotted home the rebound after Palacio's initial effort was saved.
A dominant opening 45 minutes for Inter was made even better when Raffaele Pucino put the ball into his own net to make the score 3-0 at the break.
A Ricky Alvarez strike eight minutes after the restart put Inter out of sight, while Diego Milito scored on his return from injury with 64 minutes played to increase the gap.
Esteban Cambiasso then curled home a sixth goal with 15 minutes left and Milito completed the rout late on from close range.
