Schalke 04 have revealed that they could appeal over Didier Drogba's inclusion in the Galatasaray team for Wednesday night's 1-1 Champions League last-16 first-leg draw.
Schalke said that there are doubts over the Ivorian's eligibility to play in the tournament and admitted that they are looking into the matter.
A statement on Twitter said: "There are doubts about the validity of the permission to play Drogba in the Champions League. Schalke 04 reserves its rights and is looking into this."
The return leg in Germany takes place in March.
