Sheffield United midfielder Ryan Flynn has claimed that manager Nigel Clough has "galvanised" the club following his arrival back in October.
The Blades booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic.
That victory was United's ninth in a row, a run that Flynn believes Clough should take full credit for.
"The manager has galvanised the squad. There's a real team spirit. He's been great for us and the performances have shown that. We've deserved the nine victories that we've had," he told Sky Sports News.
"February was a low point in the season but we've turned it around. We've recorded nine victories on the bounce, with eight clean sheets. We're definitely on the up."
United return to League One action on Tuesday when they welcome Carlisle United to Bramall Lane.
