Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough has praised his side's mettle following their win at Rochdale in League One.
The Blades maintained their promotion push on Tuesday night as they earned a 2-1 victory away to the Dale.
Clough believes that the unity of his players is helping them to grind out results and stay among the top six.
"We had to be resolute - we've had two of our most difficult games of the season against Rochdale home and away," he told Sky Sports News. "We're seeing the togetherness of the group shining through, the desire to win. If you show any signs of weakness at a place like this they stamp on it.
"There is a pressure on every game to win as other teams are winning, but not many will have had as tough a game as we had at Rochdale."
United continue their league campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Crawley Town.
