Sheffield Wednesday defender Daniel Jones has revealed that he is "ready for a new challenge" after leaving the Championship club on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old left Wolverhampton Wanderers to join the Owls in 2010 but after finding himself used sparingly this season by manager Dave Jones, he has admitted that he needs to be playing more games.
Jones told the club's official website: "I've really enjoyed my time here but I haven't played as many games as I would I have liked and am ready for a new challenge.
"Wednesday is a massive club and I hope the lads can turn it around this season and climb the table."
The left-back had featured 10 times for Wednesday this season, but he has not played since November.
