Swiss outfit Sion are reportedly preparing an audacious swoop for Brazilian free agent Ronaldinho.
The World Cup winner is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Brazilian side Fluminense in September, and the attacker revealed in October that he would be returning to the game in early 2016.
It had been thought that the 35-year-old, who represented the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan during a successful career, would remain in South America, but a host of European clubs have been linked with a move.
According to The Sun, Sion, who have qualified for the knockout round of the Europa League, are preparing a contract offer, with their director Marco Degennaro being quoted as saying that the veteran "is definitely an interesting option".
Ronaldinho, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, won the last of his 97 international caps in 2013.
