Spain manager Vicente del Bosque replaces Iker Casillas with David de Gea in one of six changes ahead of his side's Euro 2016 Group C qualifier in Macedonia.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has made six changes ahead of his side's Euro 2016 Group C qualifier against Macedonia in Skopje.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea replaces Iker Casillas - who played in La Roja's 2-1 win against Slovakia - in between the sticks for only his sixth cap for the incumbent European champions.

Red Devils teammate Juan Mata also comes in for the visitors, replacing Chelsea's Pedro, while Arsenal's Santi Cazorla dethrones former Gunners man Cesc Fabregas in midfield.

The other changes see Dani Carvajal, Juan Bernat and Isco replace Jordi Alba, Juanfran and Andres Iniesta as their side continue to push for qualification in a very tight group.

Macedonia, bottom of the group, also make widespread changes from their shock 1-0 defeat in Luxembourg as Vladica Brdarovski, Kirce Ristevski, Stefan Askovski, Ferhan Hasani and Marjan Radeski come into the side.

Macedonia: Pacovski, Brdarovski, Sikov, Ristevski, Zhuta, Gligorov, Petrovikj, Radeski, Hasani, Askovski, Ivanovski

Spain: De Gea, Carvajal, Ramos, Pique, Bernat, Busquets, Cazorla, Isco, Mata, Silva, Costa
