Kyle Walker has admitted that it was difficult to remain positive after he returned from injury in Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 defeat to Besiktas in the Europa League.
The England international made his first start since March in a loss which prevented Spurs from securing top spot in Group C, but he claimed that it was a relief to be back in action following a long battle with an abdominal injury.
"It was good to get back into the swing of things but the result was disappointing," Walker told the club's official website.
"I still feel a little rusty but that will come with time. By the next game hopefully I'll be sharp and fully fit."
Spurs take on Swansea City on Sunday, but Walker could be left out of the side by Mauricio Pochettino as the defender searches for full fitness.
