Michael Dawson has admitted that he finds Goodison Park a tough place to play in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur travel to Everton's ground to face the Toffees in the Premier League on Sunday.
The club's captain told Spurs' website: "When you look at us from a few years ago, maybe our away record wasn't so great and it was always our home form that was strong.
"We go to Everton determined to put on another good performance. As I said, our recent away record has been good and hopefully we can take that to Everton. It's a tough place to go.
"Last year we were in a good position until the last few minutes and then those two late goals cost us, but hopefully we'll go there on Sunday and avoid that. It'll be an exciting game, I'm sure."
Spurs currently sit fourth in the Premier League table.
