Manchester City are reportedly planning to sign both Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish this summer, which could see them spend in excess of £200m.
Pep Guardiola is keen to bolster his squad with fresh talent and has allegedly identified both players as primary targets for the upcoming window.
The Daily Mail reports that both Haaland and Grealish are at the top of City's transfer wishlist, and they would be prepared to splash the cash this summer, expressing a strong display of intent by the Premier League leaders, who are on the verge of sealing their third top-flight title in four seasons.
City's hopes of signing a centre forward have been further enhanced after Monday's announcement confirmed that their all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero would be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of this season.
Haaland, 20, is understood to be City's ideal replacement for the Argentine, but they have also shortlisted Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
Guardiola is also believed to be an admirer of 25-year-old Grealish, and there is hope a deal can be struck with Villa, despite their desperations to hold onto their talisman.
Grealish has recorded seven goals and 12 assists in 23 appearances so far this season, while Haaland has played 31 times in all competitions for the German club this campaign, scoring a remarkable 33 goals and providing eight assists. body check tags ::
