Stoke City attacker Bojan Krkic has revealed that he is aiming to be involved against Liverpool this weekend.
The Spaniard suffered a severe knee injury against Rochdale in January, and was initially expected to miss the start of the new campaign.
However, he has returned to training earlier than expected and played an hour against FC Porto on Sunday.
He told the club's official website: "I have been working very hard to be back before the season, that was my target. This week I am going to work hard every day so I can be 100% for my first game back in the new season.
"Everybody will be focused this week for our first game of the season and I think the team is very well prepared."
Bojan scored five times for the Potters last season.
