Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has praised his players for the focus that they have shown during the final weeks of the season.
The Potters are destined to finish the campaign in ninth place in the table thanks to just one defeat in their last six games.
Stoke have also recorded their highest ever points total in the Premier League with one match still to play.
"It's been another fantastic season; a record breaking one in fact," Hughes told the club's official website. "I've mentioned it several times over the past week or so, but what the guys have achieved this season, given the injuries we have suffered, arguably eclipses the success of twelve months ago.
"We can all look back upon the season with a lot of pride, especially if we are able to end it with another victory this weekend. A lot of people said that our eyes may slip off the ball over the past few weeks, but that was never going to happen. We lost a couple of games, but as they have always done when questions have been asked of them, they have bounced back superbly."
Stoke play their final game of the season on Sunday when they welcome Liverpool to the Britannia Stadium.
