Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters will reportedly remain at the club until January.
After falling down the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium and with just a year remaining on his existing deal, Walters had hoped to secure his exit from the Potters.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Republic of Ireland international will stay at Stoke after the club failed to complete the signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Miles Jedinak.
Walters had been attracting the attention of both Leicester City and Norwich City.
