Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has urged his teammates to approach the club's FA Cup showdown at Everton as just another game.
While Sunderland have lost eight of their last ten trips to Goodison Park, Mignolet believes that cup competition offers the Black Cats a big chance to turn their fortunes around this afternoon.
"It's a big cup game," he told the Sunderland Echo. "Everton are a good side, who got a great result against Tottenham last weekend.
"I don't want to think about it as a massive game because we don't need to put extra pressure on ourselves. We just need to win the game and get through.
"We don't have a great record against Everton. But, in the FA Cup, it's a different atmosphere. That will help us."
Mignolet is coming off his tenth clean sheet of the season after last weekend's win over Liverpool.
