Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole has been cautioned by police for vandalising cars while on a night out in Newcastle.
The 24-year-old, who admitted to five charges of damaging cars parked near the Sports Direct Arena, must also fork out more than £4,000 in compensation.
Black Cats teammate Nicklas Bendtner escaped reprimand when the same charges against him were dropped last month.
The pair were on a night out in December when they were arrested following the wrecking spree.
