Wes Brown has hailed the unity that currently exists between the Sunderland squad and the coaching team.
Recent reports have claimed that there is a split between a large number of players and manager Paolo Di Canio because of the Italian manager's methods.
However, following today's 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong, centre-back Brown has insisted that the stories have been fabricated.
"It was a good performance. We're a tight squad and as you can see, it's going well," he told reporters.
The Black Cats will now face either Manchester City or South China at the weekend to contest the Barclays Asia Trophy final.
