Swansea City have registered a 4-0 victory over Malmo in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.
The Welsh side had been expecting a tough test from their Swedish opponents, but they dominated the match from the opening minute.
Michu handed his side the lead late in the first half, before a Wilfried Bony double earned the Swans a comfortable advantage.
Alejandro Pozuelo then netted a fourth on his debut to give his side full control of the two-legged fixture.

Twelve months ago, who would have thought that we would be witnessing Swansea in a European competition? I certainly didn't. But here they are ready to begin their tilt at this season's Europa League.
Of course, the Swans still have a couple of rounds to get through if they are to make the group stage of the competition, but if they can, who would bet against them having a lengthy run to the latter stages?

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has named three of his summer signings in his starting lineup - Jordi Amat, Jonjo Shelvey and Wilfried Bony. It's going to be interesting how all three fit into the team for tonight's game.
Swansea supporters will be familiar with Shelvey, but maybe not so much with Amat and Bony. Amat has arrived from Spanish club Espanyol, while Bony has joined from Vitesse. Sports Mole recently did a profile of the £12m signing.

Back to Swansea, it was up in the air regarding what kind of team that Michael Laudrup would play this evening. Would he select his best XI based on fitness or on quality? It looks as though he has gone for a bit of both, although there are a couple of players on the bench that I would have expected to start tonight.
We are just 30 minutes away from the start of Swansea's Europa League campaign. I'm not a Swans fan myself, but this is an encounter that I'm really excited about!
There is word coming through that Swansea may have been forced into a change to their starting lineup, with Jonjo Shelvey dropping out. I will keep you posted.
On paper, Malmo will probably be deemed as an easy draw for Swansea, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The Swedes are halfway through their domestic season, and after they put nine past Hibernian over two matches, they are a threat to their hosts.
Malmo are currently second in the Swedish Premier League, winning nine of their 17 matches. Celtic's opponents last night, Elfsborg, are in fifth place in the same league, and when you consider that Celtic struggled to a 1-0 victory, it gives you some idea as to the task that Swansea are facing tonight.
I've heard nothing else regarding Shelvey. Perhaps it was just a rumour...
One Europa League tie involving a British side has already been played today, with St Johnstone earning a superb 1-0 victory away in Minsk.
There looks to be an half-decent crowd building inside the Liberty Stadium, but you would expect a full house for a game of this magnitude.
After the arrival of Wilfried Bony, that should enable Michu to drop back into his favoured attacking-midfield role. He netted 22 goals last season, mainly as a striker, so it will be interesting to see whether he can have a same impact from a slightly deeper position.
Less than 10 minutes to go now until kickoff. What's your prediction? I'm expecting a really tight game, with maybe just a couple of goals. But if Malmo can pick up a result and an away goal, that could leave Swansea up against it in Sweden in a week's time.
Manchester United boss David Moyes and Wales manager Chris Coleman are at the Liberty Stadium tonight. Swansea face United in their opening Premier League game, while Coleman will have an eye on the performance of Wales defender Ashley Williams.
Here come the players to a fine reception from the crowd. It looks as though we are about a couple of thousand short of capacity.
Actually, we might be a few more short of capacity, but the Liberty is rocking. Here we go!
Typical Swansea from the start. Plenty of passes back and forth across their backline. Williams wins a free-kick about 45 yards away from goal.
Nothing came from the free-kick, but Swansea have signaled their intent. Malmo look to be sitting very deep. Will that work to their advantage? Only time will tell.
Malmo are gifting the Swans plenty of possession in their own half, practically willing their opponents to attempt to force the ball.
CHANCE! First real chance for Swansea. Shelvey swung the corner into the near post, where Amat's header was cleared off the line. Encouraging start.
Swansea are trying to force this into a Premier League style match. The pace has been frantic to say the least. They have to be careful that they don't tire too fast. It's their first competitive fixture of the season after all...
What has been most impressive is the link-up play between the new signings. Amat looks comfortable alongside Williams, Shelvey is dictating play with Britton, and Bony and Michu are showing signs of promise in attack.
Malmo make their first burst forward, but they were soon dispossessed by a sliding challenge by Amat. Swansea attempted to break up the other end, but they were stopped in their tracks by an offside flag
Malmo are starting to get more of a stranglehold in the final third, but the final ball is just a tad off. However, it is keeping the Premier League outfit on their toes.
Shelvey is working incredibly hard in the centre of the park. He is playing in a slightly more reserved role than he did at Liverpool. Corner to Swansea.
The corner was swung into the right area, but it was well punched clear by Dahlin.
OUCH! Jonsson has copped a sore one there. Davies went rampaging down the left, only to see his cross strike the Malmo defender in a place where he wouldn't want to be hit.
The final ball just isn't there for Swansea. Their build-up play has been fantastic, and they look sharp in possession, but they just can't supply a final ball to Bony or Michu.
SHOT! The ball came out to Shelvey around 20 yards, but his half-volley was dragged well wide of the near post.
CHANCE! That's much more encouraging from Swansea. A perfectly-flighted ball over the top of the Malmo defence found Dyer, who controlled the ball before seeing a half-volley saved by Dahlin from 10 yards.
That is why Swansea have to be careful. Malmo break fast through Rantie, who sweeps past two players before laying the ball off to Hamad, who hits a tame shot wide.

That's so unfortunate for Malmo. Routledge mis-cues a through ball, but a defender slips to allow the ball to find itself to Michu, who makes no mistake from 12 yards, clipping the ball past the goalkeeper and off the post.
Malmo want the half-time whistle to come early. Swansea are pressing for a second and they would have one if Dyer's goalbound shot wasn't blocked by a defender.
HALF TIME: Swansea City 1-0 Malmo
Michael Laudrup will be delighted with that first-half showing. He admitted in his pre-match interview that he would take a 1-0 victory from this first leg, and that's what he has so far. The question is, can they maintain it?
As a team, Swansea were impressive, but they look to have stepped up a notch from last season. Shelvey looks a fine addition. He has worked hard to dictate the play, but I'd be surprised if he lasts the 90 minutes. Amat has looked composed in defence, while Dyer and Routledge have looked threatening down each flank.
It would be foolish to rule Malmo out though. They look to have a bit of flair in attack, and if Swansea take their foot off the gas, they could very easily nick an away goal. They would be delighted with a draw from this game.
The two teams are heading back out. No words on any substitutions just yet.
The second half is underway.
BOOKING! The first yellow card of the match has been dished out to Amat for an uncompromising block 30 yards out. However, the set piece came to nothing, with Hamad seeing his effort drift wide of the post.
Swansea look to counter that threat by holding onto possession further forward, but Malmo soon get nine men behind the ball.
Everything has to be so intricate for Swansea to create an opening for themselves and Malmo continue to hold firm. Up the other end, Eriksson goes down in the penalty area, but the referee deems it a dive. I've seen them given...
GOAL! Swansea City 2-0 Malmo (Bony)
Bony nets his first goal for the club, and some breathing space for his new side. Dyer bot clear on the left-hand side of the box, before dinking the ball across for Bony to direct a header into the top corner. It was a fine finish.
CHANCE! This game should be done and dusted. A superb cross found Michu at the back post, but he could only send his free header high over the crossbar. That was a huge opportunity.
GOAL! Swansea City 3-0 Malmo (Bony)
Swansea have been outstanding in the past five minutes. Michu was played in behind the Malmo defence, and despite his shot striking the post, the ball fell straight to Bony who bundled the ball home.
And breathe. Swansea have shown their class this half. Their ball retention is first class, and you'd expect them to sit back a little now.
Amat is a lucky boy. He was simply late, but he connected with Eriksson's head with a high boot. I'm surprised the referee let that one go. It could have helped change the course of this game.
SUBSTITUTION! Laudrup makes his first change, bringing off Michu for Jonathan de Guzman. Malmo also make an alteration, bringing on Forsberg for Friberg.
The attendance has been announced at just over 16,000. My prediction at the start of the match was way off!
SUBSTITUTION! Pozuelo is on in place of Dyer, who must be a candidate for man of the match. Seconds after the restart, Hamad blazed over from 16 yards. Bit of a let-off.
Swansea are continuing to press forward, despite their healthy advantage. Pozuelo and Shevley have both gone close from outside the penalty area. I've been very impressed with Shelvey, but you may have guessed that already.
SHOT! The confidence is flowing through Shelvey. He has just attempted a David Beckham-esque effort from about 50 yards out, which was on target, but easily saved by Dahlin. Final change for the Swans, with Canas coming on for Britton.
Shelvey tries another audacious attempt, this time from the left-hand side, with the ball just going past the far post. A fourth goal is there for the taking if Swansea can capitalise.

What was I saying? Swansea have been immense, and they deserve that fourth goal. The ball was passed around the box, before it bounced loose to Pozuelo, who drove the ball home on the half-volley from 18 yards.
There will be three minutes of added-on time.

Wilfried Bony went close to claiming his hat-trick just before the final whistle, but Michael Laudrup won't mind. That was a thrilling display from Swansea.
As I mentioned at half time, Laudrup had stated that he would have taken a 1-0 victory this evening. He was fully aware that Malmo were going to be a threat, but they attacked sporadically. We are only halfway through this tie, but Swansea should have little problems in progressing through to the final qualifying round.
