Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer has admitted that the Welsh club need to improve their home form if they are to survive in the Premier League this season.

The Swans have registered just two points and conceded seven goals in their last three home league matches, but the 24-year-old believes that they can make Liberty Stadium into "a fortress".

"We look at all our home games as chances to pick up points. We need to make the Liberty a fortress like we did last year and make it difficult for teams to come here and play," Dyer told the club's official website.

"We also want to let the big teams know that when they play against us at home then it is going to be a really difficult game and they have to work really hard to get anything out of it."

Dyer scored six goals for the club last season.
