Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has admitted that it was vital that his side picked up their first win of the season following their difficult start to the campaign.
The Swans bounced back from defeats to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur with a 2-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, thanks to goals from Ben Davies and Pablo Hernandez.
Laudrup told the club's official website: "It was a great performance. It's always difficult to play away from home, and we knew it was important to get something from the game.
"They had a big chance in the first half, but then we dominated and created plenty of chances.
"We didn't take them and then you are wondering what might happen in the final ten minutes but we got the second goal and it was all over. Overall, it was a great win and a very important three points."
Swansea have taken three points from their opening three Premier League games this season.
