Garry Monk has praised Swansea City's "mentality" after they clinched back-to-back wins in the Premier League.
The Welsh side followed up their victory over Hull City with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at the Liberty Stadium yesterday.
The manager told BBC Sport: "We're going to push for the performance levels but it's also the mentality you need. At this period, with so many games in such a short space, it's about getting results.
"It was difficult conditions. I haven't seen the pitch that soft in all my time here, but I thought we adapted very well.
"I look at the squad and the quality of the squad, and that's what I'm always looking to improve. We're not quite there yet but I think we're at a very good level. The quality of the squad is very competitive."
Swansea travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Monday.
