Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has described his side's first ever Premier League victory over Chelsea as a "great achievement".
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal of the game at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon as the Swans ended Chelsea's 15-match unbeaten streak in the league.
The result also took Francesco Guidolin's side to the 40-point mark, 13 points clear of the relegation zone, and Rangel acknowledged that things look more comfortable for his side now.
"With the 40 points we're far away from the bottom and to beat Chelsea for the first time in the Premier League is a great achievement," he told BBC Sport.
"All the players put a good shift in today and overall it was a great performance. With this win everything looks much easier now."
Swansea's next match sees them take on Newcastle United at St James' Park next Saturday.
