Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will reportedly not face any punishment from the Football Association for appearing to headbutt Newcastle United defender Mathieu Debuchy.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew felt that the former Liverpool player should have been dismissed for the action during the Magpies' 3-0 defeat to the Welsh outfit last night.
Despite Pardew's calls, it is understood that the English governing body will not take any action against the player, according to BBC Sport.
Footage has shown that Shelvey seemed to move his head towards the Frenchman's but the 21-year-old did not make contact.
