Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has backed his under-fire manager Garry Monk after he revealed that he has been "perfect" for him.
The 23-year-old scored from the penalty spot as the Swans came from behind to draw 2-2 with Bournemouth, and the England international believes that Monk has the support of the whole squad.
The former Liverpool man told Sky Sports News: "We are fully behind our manager, we love our manager and he is a great young manager. I mean, he has come from being a player and it is hard transition to make and for me, he has been spot on.
"Every bit of advice, I have always listened to from him, I have always bounced back when I have had set backs from him and he has been perfect for me and I can speak on behalf of the other lads, he has been spot on."
Shelvey has played every Premier League game for Swansea so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
