Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has revealed that manager Garry Monk rarely speaks with his players.
The 26-year-old also claimed that he was not congratulated by his manager when he helped Iceland qualify for next summer's European Championships.
Sigurdsson told futbolti.net: "No, he doesn't really communicate much with the players. When we qualified he didn't even send the players from Wales or Iceland congratulations. I haven't heard from him. Besides, the decision lies with the national coaches."
Monk was part of the Swansea squad before he took charge as manager in 2014.
